A bit late but here are some of my Melbourne purchases. A weird mix of things for an 18 year old girl but still

After HOURS of searching online for the unimaginably amazing handbag I had the chance to buy in Melbourne and let TOTALLY slip through my fingers….
I’VE FOUND IT!!!
It’s by ALPHA60 an amazing minimalistic/overly plain/crazily boring looking brand
HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A BAG THIS SHAPE YET SO SIMPLE?!?!?!?!?
ONO PROBLEMO….. I am a *strict* vegan so I CANNOT buy leather (I make exceptions if it’s vintage, second hand etc. SO WHAT’S A GIRL TO DO?!?!
DOES SHE ASK SOMEONE TO BUY IT FOR HER AND GIVE THEM THE $$ AND LIVE WITH IT ON HER CONSCIENCE?
OR DOES SHE STAY TRUE TO WHAT SHE BELIEVES IN?
OR DOES SHE ASK FOR IT AS A PRESENT THEN TECHNICALLY SHE DIDN’T BUT OR PAY FOR IT?
OR DOES SHE JUST SAY FUCK IT. I LOVE IT MORE THAN I COULD LOVE ANY MAN IN THE WORLD AND I WILL NEVER STOP LOVING IT NOR WILL IT STOP LOVING ME?
OR DOES SHE BOOK HERSELF INTO WEEKLY SESSIONS WITH A SENIOR PSYCHIATRIST?
one last note: The photos do not do it justice
THE WORST
Something TERRIBLE happened to me and my Havaianas today. I could smell something really bad which was obviously from an animal. And didn’t realise for about 2 minutes that I’d stepped in cat or dog shit.
I Can’t with household pets. Especially when there’s more pets than people in the house.
R.I.P. Black Havaianas that I’d managed to keep for more than 4 years. You were so good to me.
Now all I want to do is vom and cry.
I’m not trying to impress you, but i’m Australian

I’m finally back from Coral Bay and have access to a computer WITH an internet connection. I cannot explain how good it makes me feel.
I did have an amazing time though. I went snorkelling and saw so many amazing fish, coral, sharks, dolphins etc. I also got my step sister who was more scared of fish than me to come snorkelling. I saw kangaroos, a wallaby, camels (wtf?!) and some other animals/creatures.
It’s a shame I’m not much of an animal person…
But the weather there is AHMAZING. So hot and the water’s warm. AND NO MOSQUITOES

3 pairs of footwear i NEVER thought I’d own.
Flippers I can deal with because they’re sort of cool and make it much easier to snorkel.
Actual sandles.. I CANNOT believe. My dad told me they’re “much easier to walk in and a lot safer than thongs”. We both got a pair. fml. Admittedly they are very comfy. But is it worth feeling comfy if it looks like you’re wearing orthopaedic shoes? We’ll see..
Lastly trainers. Out of all 3 these are the pair I’m finding it hard to get my head around. I live in ballet flats and boots and even wearing a pair of converse makes me feel androgynous. But again, I cannot believe how comfy they are. I didn’t want to spend any money on them at all but as I’m now a girl who ‘exercises’, I thought it was best. I got them from K-Mart for $20. Far more than the English girl inside my wanted to pay.
I guess the Australian half of me is finally coming out.
New year. New me.

As proud as I am of my DIY Levi cut-offs, I gave in yesterday and got a pair of dark distressed denim shorts. In England I would’ve paid £70 for them and here they were only $40. Amaze

One thing the shops in Australia do have is cool rings at very good prices. A not-so-guilty pleasure
